This 100% Habotai Silk scarf measures 11” x 60”. It is supple & lightweight and one-of-kind. It's hand dyed using a technique called "Sun Dying" Check out the "How To" Sun Dying video at the bottom of this page to learn more about it.
Tree of Life & Flora - Sun Print
For this design I used ferns and flowers from my garden and a old garden windchime representing the tree of life. Each item's image was captured as the scarf dried in the sun. As usual the end results are always a wonderful surprise!. Wear it to the beach, work, or a night on the town. You'll love the look and feel of this supple lightweight silk!
Colors: One is pure Faded Fushia & the other has a little Purple added to the mix. Let me know if you have a preference.
Care: Silk feels delicate, but is a very strong fabric and easy to care for. Hand-wash in mild soap and cold water. Rinse it with your hair conditioner, to give it a soft feel and a lovely sweet smell.
Never wring out a wet scarf as it may rip. Hang to dry & steam iron on silk/low setting if you want to, but keep in mind that most of the wrinkles are “set” into the fabric and are a natural result of the dying process.
